Company Overview
Cheryl J. Weissman established CJW Consulting & Services, Inc. (CJW) in 1993
to help non-profit organizations make the best use of their software resources.
Cheryl's 20+ years of experience with fundraising, the not-for-profit
community, and its associated software allow CJW to provide high-quality
consulting and services at prices designed to fit your budget.
CJW Consulting & Services, Inc. offers a wide variety of services, including
software assessments and audits, on-site software training, data analysis, data
conversion, consulting and temporary staff replacement, all tailored to your
specific needs.

Our Staff
Cheryl J. Weissman, President
Cheryl has been working for and with non-profits since 1984. As a fundraiser in
charge of Special Gifts at Planned Parenthood/Chicago from 1984 to 1987, Cheryl
researched, selected and implemented the first fundraising software product
used by the organization.
From 1987 to 1993, Cheryl worked as an account manager for a national software
company. Working exclusively with non-profits, Cheryl developed and delivered
training programs, performed data conversions, installed software for new
clients, organized and hosted users groups, provided on- and off-site
consulting services and provided input into software updates.
In 1993, believing she could more efficiently serve the non-profit community
without the overhead of a larger company, Cheryl created what began as CJW
Enterprises and was renamed CJW Consulting & Services, Inc. upon its 1999
incorporation.
Larry D. Muffett
I am very pleased to announce that Larry Muffett is once again associated with CJW Consulting! After two years as a Foundation Operations Director, Larry returns as an independent contractor, bringing his formidable training expertise back to CJW and the nonprofit community.
During the time he has been working elsewhere, Larry has also earned a second Master’s Degree, this one in Human Resource Development (HRD). There is a close connection (and frequent overlap) between HRD and training services, and having the ability to incorporate HRD into our software-related services will allow us to be sure that when we provide training services, our clients will get not only high-quality, cost-effective training, but also the assurance that training was the right solution for their performance issue.
This summer, we will be offering a series of free webinars during which Larry will introduce you to HRD and its many benefits. If you are already receiving our regular emails, you will be notified of these sessions as they are scheduled.
