About CJW Consulting Services
Cheri Weissman, CJW’s president and founder, opted to become an independent consultant in 1993 after spending nearly 6 years as an account manager for a company providing fundraising software to nonprofit organizations.
On her first visit to her first client, she sat down at a table with a half dozen people who had issues with the viability of their software. She opened the meeting by saying, “What can I do to help you today?” The VP of Development was seated to her right, and he said “I want a magic button.” Cheri asked him to clarify, and he smiled and told her that he wanted his computer to have one big red button that he could press whenever he needed anything. It would know what he needed and see to it that he got it.
She didn’t know it at the time, but it turned out that being a software-related consultant made Cheri something of a magic button. Armed with a fundraising background along with high level of expertise in various fundraising software products as well as Crystal Reports, Microsoft products and several financial software products, Cheri excels at listening to what nonprofit staff need to do and helping them use their software effectively to meet those needs.

Custom Crystal Reports
We are extremely pleased to announce the availability of custom Crystal Report services! If reports provided by your fundraising software are not meeting your needs and you are seeking assistance in the preparation of custom reports, we will be able to assist you in this process, from the exporting of data through completion and documentation of the finished report.
Software comparison
We can help you determine which software application is the best fit for your organization’s needs, today and into the future
Internal procedures manual
Internal policies and procedures should be documented so that new staff coming in will know the standards and structure to be used for entering and maintaining data.
Software/data audit
CJW can conduct a high-level review of your use of your software and prepare a written summary which includes recommendations for changes, cleanup or other adjustments to your use of the software.
Data conversion
If you are moving from one software application to another and need affordable assistance with the conversion process, CJW can provide a quality conversion package that improves your data as it is prepared for use in a new application.
